That’s why you should go to your husband’s house so he can help you kill rat.
Me: Mummy, how does this even relate to the conversation we are having?
What if my man’s dey fear rats or maybe he isn’t always home? lol
Consciously and unconsciously, pressure comes in different forms.
You tell yourself, you’re not in a haste, it will happen when it is meant to, but family and friends sometimes random strangers, might not let you be, and subconsciously, it feels like there’s a deadline when you see all your friends moving on in life, getting married, having kids and doing great with life generally.
I was just thinking and the need to write this crossed my mind.
I get affected by it sometimes so I’m not going to sugarcoat how easy it is, it isn’t.
This pressure can be in any form, from career growth to marital life, financial life, etc.
December already, whew! I thought the start of the year felt slow but here we are.
To be honest, many of us might start thinking of so many things that didn’t go as planned or how many failures we had.
I read Oprah Winfrey’s newsletter (Oprah Daily) you should know Oprah is my role model, if not, yeah, I’m a big fan.
The subject tag of the newsletter was 9 Things to Write Down Before New Year’s
I clicked on the link and it was quite reflective, especially starting my morning with such a positive or rather grateful mood.
Number 1 was “That One Great Day”; Then I thought, what’s that one great and memorable day I had this year, then I remembered the visit to magic land with Mims, AJ and Mummy K. I had mad funnn, it was an ideal agbaya outing day, feeling like a child again and in the middle of this, I got the job appointment text message of my current job, How can I forget the day na.
There might be others, but this wasn’t hard to remember.
Can you do this too? Look at these 9 things and I’m certain you’ll find yourself reflective on them.
Writeback to me on how you deal with pressure when it tries to surface, we might be helping one another.
So, trying to keep this newsletter as concise as possible, the truth in this newsletter is:
Just take it easy, life will keep lifing, and pressure might set in but no gree o. Your time will come and thing is, we will always have dreams to chase and bag to pursue, lol, the journey is unending so I hope you enjoy the process of the journey before you arrive at your destination, sad reality, no be everyone go arrive well.
